This stunning modern property featured a large terrace which was in desperate need of protection against all of the elements (sun, wind and rain) in order to be fully utilised.

A complete solution was provided with a fully Automated Bioclimatic Pergola that not only fulfilled all the necessary requirements for weather protection but has also enhanced the styling of the property.

The Bioclimatic Pergola is constructed in Aluminium with powder coated paint finish and fixings in stainless steel.

Automated roof sections can be tilted open to control ambient and direct sunlight and fully closed to provide rain protection with an internal guttering system.

All three open sides were fitted with Drop Zip ?Roller Blinds to provide enhanced shade against sunlight from any direction and also wind protection.

The Zip Drop Roller Awnings?are fully motorised and include side guides which retain the zip-edged fabric: Fibre Screen which is highly stable and ultra resistant to UV.

Each Drop Zip Roller Awning can be operated independently or all at the same time via remote control.

A Wind Sensor closes the Drop Roller Awnings?against damage when the wind speed increases above a predetermined level.

Adjustable intensity LED Lighting is integral to the pergola roof.

All automated products can also be controlled via a tablet or mobile phone using a wifi connected interface. This system also allows different preprogrammed “scenarios”.
